This is a random mixture of my favourite skincare, health & wellness, etc., because I’m a multi-faceted babe.
My skin has been sensitive this month, so I’ve been experimenting more with bodycare.
Facial-wise ~ this recovery balm from REN has been amazing for calming bouts of irritation. No added fragrance, phew! Consider it if you want to elevate your slugging routine.
You probably know that I’ve been on a period product journey with cups & discs. I was recently sent some from Nixit, and let’s just say it’s become my new favourite disc.
I would definitely say that this is for advanced disc users, as there’s no string to aid removal (unlike the Pixie disc). However, with that in mind, I find that possibly due to the absence of the string, it’s more secure and therefore < leakage. The lube and cleanser are chefs kiss. Fragrance-free and ingredients that will keep your kitty happy.
I’ve upped my wellness game this month. I have gone back to incorporating gym workouts (low-intensity cardio + relatively light weights) alongside reformer pilates. Naturally, I’ve been eating cleaner too. One of my favourite sweet snacks/desserts has been this stuffed almond butter date with chocolate sprinkles. It also makes the perfect pre-gym snack too.

Stuffed almond butter dates with chocolate recipe
..it’s so complicated it’s going to blow your mind
Pitted Dates
Pip & Nut Almond Butter (the bulk size is cheaper)
Hu Salted Dark Chocolate (a lot of healthy chocolates are made from trash, but this is the best on the market - so many different flavours)
Cut dates lengthways
Pour roughly a tablespoon of the almond butter into the opening created in the date
Sprinkle crushed chocolate pieces
Refrigerate

I’ve been seeing some of the Bodycare TikTok girls mention this product - and indeed, it lives up to the hype. Very interesting serum meets moisturiser texture. You’ll see (or even feel) results after 1-2 uses. No irritation has been experienced so far.

This was the first Oh Polly order. I’m not an Oh Polly girl. However, my quest for cheap but good-quality basics prevailed. Let’s just say this body is comparable to SKIMS. I was shocked. Very good quality for the price, and if paired with something elevated, you’ll never know it’s fast fashion.
Let’s just say I’ll be ordering more.
